CORNWALL FOLK FESTIVAL POSTPONED TILL 2021 -- Cornwall Folk Festival is postponed until the August Bank Holiday weekend of 2021 due to concerns of safety and the impact on festival finances of the Covid-19 pandemic. Director Adrian Jones said: "At this point in mid-April, there is no clear end to the lockdown, and it seems unlikely that larger close-proximity gatherings will be allowed this year. We use smaller venues where social distancing is not an option. Our ticket sales - very strong before the lockdown - have dried up. And we rely on support from local cafes, pubs and restaurants to break even, but this year they need our help, not the other way round.".
